Fantastic Beasts and where to find theme. Review

In 2011 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows left us with a deep hole in our heart. We were abandoned in this cruel real World without a shred of magic. It was hard for a Harry Potter fan like me. So, try to imagine my reaction when I heard the news that on November 2016 a new movie about the magic World of JK Rowling would realased in movie theatres. I was insanely happy. “Fantastic Beast and where to find them” is directed by David Yates, the same director of The Deathly Hallows, and it talks about the research of all the magical creatures by the wizard Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). This movie is taken from the book that JK. Rowling wrote in the 2009.
Before Voldemort and Harry Potter the wizarding world was not so different from the one that we know. Magicians were trying to protect themeselves from the Muggles using their powers to keep the secret of their existence when something happened: an English wizard called Scamander came to America with a suitcase full of beasts and he lost them. The research of these creatures draws us in to the fantasy World and helps us to learn more about it’s peculiarities.
The movie is quite fast and full of special effects. After few minutes you are completely absorbed into the story. The screenplay, written by JK. Rowling, is phenomenal. The actors deserve a praise for representing their weird and funny characters and Eddie Redmayne is perfect in the role of Newt Scamander.
I have been a fan of David Yates since “Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix” and I can say that in this new work the director has exceeded expectations. If you are missing Harry Potter like me, “Fantastic beasts and where to find them” is your new ticket to Hogwarts.
I highly recommend for all the muggles out there.
